The Green River Intra-county Transit System (GRITS) offers clean, safe, and dependable public transportation at no or low cost. Medicaid-eligible clients without vehicles receive free transportation to approved Medicaid appointments. Additionally, para-transit services and a fee-per-mile service are available to the public.

Description: Hartford Area Resourse Transportation System (HARTS) is a free transportation service for Hartford, KY. This service operates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 AM - 3 PM. To utilize this service you can call the number listed above.

Description: Transportation to nutrition sites, medical needs, and shopping trips are available at the Senior Center. Transportation is available for those citizens 60 years and older. A donation of $1.50 is suggested for each unit of transportation. Transportation units are required to have a 24-hour notice. To schedule transportation, call (270) 298-4460.
