The Ohio County Health Coalition is a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing the well-being of residents in Ohio County. This coalition was established by bringing together diverse
stakeholders, including community organizations, healthcare providers, and concerned individuals. Their primary goal is to address critical health needs and promote positive change within the
county.
Through data-driven assessments, the coalition identifies key areas for improvement. In the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment, conducted by Ohio County Healthcare, two specific focus
areas emerged: Mental Health and Living Wage. Recognizing these priorities, the Ohio County Health Coalition has taken proactive steps to address them and make a meaningful impact.
The Community Resource Guide they developed serves as a valuable tool, connecting residents to essential resources where they can seek assistance. By fostering collaboration and leveraging
community strengths, the coalition strives to create a healthier and more resilient Ohio County.
