The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This center provides a place for elderly who cannot be left alone. Description: Lunch is served at 11:30am on these days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each month, the Ohio County Senior Center offers special programming as well as regularly scheduled recreational activities including craft classes, exercise, bluegrass music bands, cards, bingo, bus trips, healthcare workshops, Medicare D training, health fairs, and billiards – all at no cost to our participants. Blood pressure checks are also available at our senior centers. Additional recreational opportunities include cookouts, senior travel, and recreation programs for senior groups and organizations on a regional basis. "Big Wheel Day" is an opportunity for the elected officials (The Big Wheels) to visit with the Senior Community and serve them their Thanksgiving meal. The Ohio County Fair day is sponsored each September for the Ohio County Senior Citizens. Music, bingo, and many other activities are enjoyed by the senior community.
