OCH Announces new Chief Financial Officer, Stuart Hibbs
I am pleased to announce that the Ohio County Healthcare Board of Directors has selected Stuart Hibbs as the organization's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2023. Of the appointment, Jim Duke, Board President, noted, "The Board was very serious and deliberate in our selection of a new CFO. Under the guidance of QHR, we considered several exceptional candidates. Our Board is excited to be able to move Stuart into this position. With his OCH experience, he will be able to quickly acclimate to his new role in leading the financial charge forward for our organization."
Stuart joined the Ohio County Healthcare team in 2018 in the position of Controller providing direct oversight to the accounting department. He has served as the “Interim” CFO, since July 2022, when previous CFO Shellie Shouse was selected as the OCH CEO. Stuart brings to this position over twenty years of extensive accounting experience and well-honed financial skills. Stuart will begin immediately in transitioning to this new position, as well as transitioning his current duties.
