Ohio County Healthcare is pleased to welcome Donald Arms, MD to the Ohio County Specialty Care Orthopedic Team. With over 23 years of experience as a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Arms will be providing both non-surgical care as well as surgical intervention including total joints starting in 2021. Through his extensive fellowship training and subspecialty certifications, Dr. Arms will be able to treat both pediatric and adult patients for general orthopedics conditions and sports medicine injuries. He will provide personalized treatment options including surgery and physical therapy to help provide relief for patients from injuries and joint disease, and to recover maximum function.
Education and Certifications:
Medical School - University of Tennessee College of Medicine
Residency - Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital
Fellowship - University of Utah, Pediatric Orthopedics
Certification - American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
Subspecialty Certification - Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Philip Hurley, who will be retiring in the spring of 2021, will work with Dr. Arms to transition patients. Other providers on the OCH orthopedic team include: David Boles, MD, Fellowship Trained Hand Surgeon; Joey Polio, MD, Fellowship Trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon; and Jan Bickett, APRN.
