Ohio County Healthcare Now Offers AblePay to Help Patients Save on Medical Bills

Hartford, KY — November 17, 2025 — Ohio County Healthcare is pleased to announce that it now accepts AblePay, a free program that helps patients lower their out-of-pocket medical costs while offering flexible, interest-free payment options.

AblePay gives patients the opportunity to save up to 13% on their medical bills and choose payment terms that best fit their budget. Members also gain access to a secure online portal where they can review claims, manage payments, store documents, and receive dedicated support for billing questions.

There is no cost to join AblePay. The program works by partnering with medical providers, offering them guaranteed, timely payment in exchange for discounted rates. A portion of this savings is passed directly to patients.

How It Works:

• Patients enroll directly with AblePay through a quick online sign-up.
• They receive an AblePay card to present alongside their insurance at any participating provider.
• After insurance processes a claim, AblePay pays Ohio County Healthcare at its contracted rate and notifies the patient of their remaining responsibility.
• Patients then choose their preferred payment term and method through the online Member Portal.
