Misty Powers, APRN - was born and raised in Owensboro. Misty played basketball at Wabash Valley College and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. Misty spent nearly a decade providing care to laboring women and their families as a labor and delivery nurse. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master of Science in Nursing and is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Her interests include general gynecology, family planning, and STD treatment and prevention. When she has free time, Misty enjoys golfing, watching UK basketball, spending time with her husband and friends and chasing her two growing boys.
