Status/Schedule: Full Time, some weekends and call required.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: No certifications or formal training required.
  • Experience with general facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Experience in installation of vinyl flooring, carpet, tile and outdoor carpeting.

Job Description:

• Assists with renovation projects which may require plaster, drywall, painting, moving equipment, etc and collaborates with other departments as such projects occur.

• Capable of performing basic maintenance functions including:

• Electrical - fixture installation, bulb changes, install receptacles/switches, wiring and conduit installation & general troubleshooting.

• Plumbing - fixture installation and repairs, basic piping for water/gas lines & general troubleshooting.

• HVAC - assist with unit cleaning & installation, duct cleaning/repairs/installation, filter changes & general troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and manuals

• Cleans areas that will be assigned.

• Reports to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager and keeps the manager informed of issues encountered.

• Other duties may be assigned.
