Medical Nutrition Therapy and Services

Ohio County Hospital also offers Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Our Registered Dietitian is available to consult with you to develop a preventative treatment plan for the onset or progression of disease through diet modification. Such diseases may include diabetes, heart disease, obesity, etc.

You may obtain a referral from a physician for MNT or you can refer yourself. Your physician will then be contacted by the Registered Dietitian to obtain an order for MNT. With a physician order, your insurance will be billed. Please check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify for coverage. Fees are dependent upon the length of the session.
