At Ohio County Healthcare, we believe access to quality healthcare should not be limited by where someone lives, transportation challenges, or other barriers to receiving care.

Our Mobile Access Clinic (MAC) was developed to extend healthcare services beyond traditional clinic walls and into the communities we serve. Through community partnerships, outreach events, preventive screenings, and health education, the MAC helps connect individuals with healthcare resources closer to home.

How Can the Mobile Access Clinic Serve Your Community?

The Mobile Access Clinic can support a variety of community events and healthcare initiatives, including:

• Community Health and Wellness Events: Participation in health fairs, community gatherings, and local outreach initiatives.
• Preventive Health Screenings: Services such as blood pressure monitoring, glucose and cholesterol screenings, and other wellness assessments based on event needs and available resources.
  
• Health Education: Providing information about preventive care, chronic disease management, and available healthcare resources.
  
• School and Family Outreach: Supporting school-based physicals, immunization events, and other family health initiatives.
  
• Employer and Workforce Wellness: Collaborating with local businesses to provide employee health screenings and wellness education.
  
• Rural and Underserved Community Outreach: Bringing healthcare resources into communities where transportation, distance, or limited local services may create barriers to care.

Services are coordinated based on community needs, staffing, equipment, and availability.
