Digital Mammography & Bone Density Scanning
Our Hologic Selenia Digital Mammography System provides clear, detailed breast images that appear within seconds. Radiologists can zoom in, adjust brightness, and analyze
specific areas immediately—helping reduce the need for repeat images and lowering x-ray exposure.
We also use the Hologic Discovery C Bone Densitometer to measure bone density with precision and monitor changes over time, an essential tool in managing osteoporosis and fracture risk.
CT Scanning – Now with the Aquilion Prime SP
We now offer the Aquilion Prime SP 160-slice Ultra Helical CT scanner, delivering high-speed, high-resolution scans with excellent detail.
Nuclear Medicine Imaging
Our Philips BrightView Dual-Head Nuclear Medicine Camera produces excellent image quality in a shorter amount of time. This technology
adapts well to patients of all sizes, from infants to adults, and allows for precise results across a range of studies.
MRI Imaging
We use the Philips Achieva 1.5T MRI with a short-bore design to make exams more comfortable for patients.
The Genius ™ 3D exam is the only mammogram that has greater accuracy than 2D mammography for women across a variety of ages and breast densities. Breast density is very common and varies among women. Typically, 40 to 50 percent of women aged 40 to 74 have dense breast tissue. Breasts consist of several types of tissue that appear differently on a mammogram. Dense breast tissue – also know as fibrous and glandular tissue – appears darker (or whiter) on the mammogram image, making it more difficult to determine problem areas and often resulting in additional imaging for the patient. The Hologic Genius™ 3D Mammography exam is proven to reduce callbacks for additional imaging by 40% compared to traditional 2D mammography alone through it’s superior imaging quality.
The accreditations were obtained in 5 different imaging modalities including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and Mammography which has been ACR accredited for over 15 years.
The American College of Radiology (ACR) is a peer-reviewed, educationally focused evaluation process to help you assure your patients of the highest level of image quality and safety. Accreditation is not only the right thing to do; it also helps our facility meet regulatory and third-party payer criteria.
