Keeping your heart healthy plays a vital role in the health and well-being of your entire body. When your heart works well you have more energy and endurance to do the activities you enjoy. When your heart isn’t working well it makes life more difficult and much less enjoyable.

Ohio County Healthcare Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Cardiac Rehab typically consists of 3 visits per week for up to 12 weeks. During this time, patients are monitored on a cardiac monitor and educated on safe and proper exercises as well as life style choices to maintain a healthy heart. Cardiac patients are then given the choice to continue a maintenance program after they are discharged from therapy.

In this program, they are able to come to the clinic twice each week to perform independent exercise. Our rehab professionals are nearby for consultation as needed. For more information on the cardiac rehabilitation program please contact Brenda Freels, RN, at 270-298-5236
