What is an Allergy?

An allergy is a very sensitive immune response to substances that either enter or come in contact with the body, such as pet dander, pollen or bee venom. These substances are called allergens.

Midwest Ear, Nose, & Throat provides comprehensive allergy testing services in Owensboro that encompass many different allergens, including categories such as trees, grass, weeds, animals, molds, and various foods. For each patient, a personalized allergy serum is meticulously crafted to address their specific allergenic sensitivities.

Allergy testing in a non-invasive test done in our office that will give your provider the information they need to treat your allergies effectively. After reading the results you will know what allergens you have reactions to, and an individualized care plan can then be made to treat your specific allergy/allergies.

We do offer walk-in allergy injections at all of these locations. However, we recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment for a faster, more efficient experience.
