RN - Provider Practice Educator

Qualifications:

• Education: 2 year degree
• Experience: Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Additional requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky (Licensure in compact state also accepted)

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing

  • BLS Provider or equivalent knowledge

Job Description:

• Provide education and training in the following areas; quality, compliance, scope of practice, regulatory updates, and other educational needs as identified

• Assess and evaluate nursing practice throughout the various provider clinics and collaborate with CNCO and Clinical Staff Operations Manager to provide education specific for improved quality, practices, and productivity in those areas.

• Collaborates with Department Director's and Providers to ensure relevant education is conducted specific to each area.

• Maintain communication with each provider practice/clinic to assess needs, processes, and productivity, reporting any issues to Education Coordinator Supervisor.

• Act as an advisor to clinical staff.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
