Urinary and urologic concerns can feel personal or difficult to talk about, but your need for care is important. At the OCH Urology Clinic, patients will receive urology services in a compassionate, confidential, safe, and patient centered environment.
Patients are seen in clinic by a full-time urology provider, with additional support through a partnership with VirtuCare, a tele-urology consultative service.
Amy Shelton, APRN, is an Ohio County Healthcare–employed, dedicated nurse practitioner with more than 22 years of nursing experience and over 8 years of experience in urology care. She performs urologic physical exams, evaluations, diagnostic testing, diagnoses, and develops individualized treatment plans for patients.
Ms. Shelton works closely with VirtuCare urologists through telehealth consultation to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care. VirtuCare urologists also will provide on-site surgical services as needed at the Ohio County Healthcare Surgical Unit in Hartford.
