Qualifications:

• Educational Preference: High School Diploma or GED

• Experience: Preferred 1 year

  Description of Job:

• Pre-registration of Surgery and Pain Procedure accounts.

• Review each surgery account to ensure correct patient demographics and insurance information has been entered, correct admission codes and census information has been entered.

• Understand the use of payer portals and other eligibility tools.

• Communicate insurance changes to precertification departments for review.

• Communicate with PAT regarding patient account creation.

• Pre-registration of IOVERA and Joint Camp patient accounts.

• Review of all procedures to create patient profiles in Eclinical Works EHR for all Anesthesia billing.

• Review all Pathology lab encounters to create patient profiles in Eclinical Works EHR for all Pathology billing.

• Review accounts admitted first of the month to ensure no changes in demographics or insurance information.

• Review orders for CT scans performed at Ohio County Midwest ENT and register patient accounts into CPSI for interfacing with Louisville Radiology Imaging Consultants.

• Enter pertinent information for KY CancerLink grant qualified patients.

• Void accounts that were pre-registered but never admitted.

• Back up the PSRs in the Surgery Center when needed.
